Biography:
Cherniwchan joined the Stingrays for five regular-season (three goals) and eight postseason (two goals, one assist) contests last season after finishing a four-year collegiate career at Northern Michigan University earning 35 goals and 49 assists for 84 points in 146 games. Before joining the NCAA ranks, the Hinton, Alberta, native skated three seasons of junior hockey with the Drayton Valley Thunder (AJHL) and Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL) netting 91 points (54g, 37a) and 308 penalty minutes in 128 games.
