Game 6 - Monday, April 24

South Carolina and Greenville will meet for the 107th time on Monday, April 24 at the North Charleston Coliseum. 107 meetings in seven years makes for some heated competition. The best of seven PLAYOFF series between these in state-rivals is currently all tied up at 2-2. Prolific scoring combined with fights, scrums, hits, and chirps has made this series one for the books. We expect more of this excitement during game six on Monday!

Quick Glance at the Series:

Greenville started off strong with two victories at home to take a 2-0 series lead. However, South Carolina responded on home ice with two outstanding performances to bounce back and even the series.

The Rays put on a show with a 6-0 pounding of the Swamp Rabbits on Monday night. South Carolina controlled the game as Rob Flick, the Rays leading scorer during the regular season, showed his dominance with two goals and an assist. With the score getting out of hand things got heated on the ice and the teams accounted for 42 penalty minutes in the 3rd period alone!!!

There was no let up the next night in Game 4, as the Stingrays sent the Swamp Rabbits packing with another blowout win, this time by a score of 6-1. The Rays had 13 different players record points in Tuesday’s victory. Kelly Zajac led the way with two goals and Parker Milner had another outstanding performance in net with 36 saves.  

Don’t miss the Rays return to Charleston this Monday, April 24th for game 6 of this historic series.
