Flick brings experience to the Stingrays forward group. The veteran was a fourth round selection of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2010 NHL Draft. He has spent the past five seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL) as part of the Blackhawks, Boston Bruins, and Florida Panthers organizations. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound forward enjoyed his best professional season with the Providence Bruins of the AHL in 2014-15 when he scored 24 points (19 goals, five assists) in 65 games. After signing with the Panthers, Flick spent last year with the club's AHL affiliate in Portland, scoring 21 points (seven goals, 14 assists) in 60 games. 

Never afraid to drop the gloves, Flick has skated in 279 career AHL games, scoring 70 points (38 goals, 32 assists) in addition to racking up 439 penalty minutes. He also appeared in 17 games with the Toledo Walleye during his rookie season in 2011-12, scoring 10 points (four goals, six assists). In junior hockey, Flick was an accomplished scorer for the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He had 99 points (46 goals, 53 assists) and 393 penalty minutes in 181 games, and led his club to the 2011 Memorial Cup Finals.
