Currently Residing: I just moved to
Ocean Springs, Mississippi to start a career in
commercial real estate and help with the recovery effort here in the gulf
coast from Hurricane Katrina.

Current Occupation/Employer: Keller Williams Commercial,
Gulfport, MS
What prompted your decision to move to
Mississippi and help with the relief
efforts from Hurricane Katrina?
My wife is a clinical counselor and with all the real estate needs here it just seemed like the natural thing to do. Charleston was tough to leave but we both feel like we can really
accomplish something bigger here in the
Gulf
Coast .
What is your fondest Stingrays memory?
My fondest memory was winning the Kelly Cup at home in front of ten thousand screaming fans.
What was with all the different jersey numbers you wore for the Stingrays?
I guess boredom?
If the Stingrays were to retire your jersey, what number would you want hanging from the
North Charleston Coliseum rafters?
33
If the
Mississippi
Sea Wolves need an extra body in the lineup this season, will you play?
Only if it's against the Stingrays!
Do you still keep in contact with any of your former Stingrays teammates?
Yes. “Ace” (Andy Powers), “Sea Bass” (Chris Wheaton), “Dauber” (Kirk
Daubenspeck), and “Irv” (Joel Irving). All the guys I played with in
Charleston
were great. Hopefully we can all get back to
Charleston for an alumni game some day.
What do you miss the most about your playing days in
South Carolina ?
The great fan support.
Any regrets?
Nope.
Anything you’d like to say to Stingrays fans who might read this?
Thanks!
