LAST WEEK'S RESULTS:
December 29: South Carolina at Orlando, 5-3 Win
The South Carolina Stingrays power play came up big when they needed it to last Tuesday night. Paul Rodrigues scored the game-winning goal on the man-advantage at the 13:00 mark of the third period to earn the Stingrays a 5-3 victory over the Orlando Solar Bears at the Amway Center. The victory was South Carolina's fourth at the Amway Center this season and fifth overall win against Orlando.

January 2 : Cincinnati at South Carolina, 4-1 Win
David Pacan's first game against his former team could not have gone any better. Pacan notched his second hat trick of the season to lead the South Carolina Stingrays to a 4-1 victory over the Cincinnati Cyclones last Saturday night at the North Charleston Coliseum. The victory was the Stingrays fourth straight win.

January 3: Cincinnati at South Carolina, 4-2 Loss
The South Carolina Stingrays fired a season-high 45 shots on goal, but Cincinnati goaltender Brandon Whitney stole the show, earning the Cyclones a 4-2 road victory at the North Charleston Coliseum on Sunday afternoon. The Stingrays win-streak of four games was snapped in the loss despite a pair of goals from Colin Mulvey.

POWERED UP POWER PLAY

South Carolina's power play has a goal in six straight games, dating back to the club's 4-1 loss to Florida on December 19. In that stretch, the Stingrays are 6-for-22 on the power play, converting at 27.3%.

PENALTY KILL PERFECTION
In a pair of games this past weekend, South Carolina went a perfect 8-for-8 on the penalty kill. With a recent string of success, South Carolina's penalty kill is now denying 86.7% of opponents chances on the power play, good for fourth in the league.

HAT TRICK MAN: DAVID PACAN

Forward David Pacan notched his second hat trick of the season in a 4-1 win over his former club, the Cincinnati Cyclones, on Saturday night. He also registered three goals in a 6-3 win over Orlando on November 24. Pacan has three multi-goal games this season for the Stingrays this season and is tied for the team lead with nine goals.
