Stingrays Announce Initial Training Camp RosterSep 30, 2016
The South Carolina Stingrays, proud affiliate of the Washington Capitals and the Hershey Bears, have announced the club's initial training camp roster today.
The roster features 17 players, including 10 forwards, five defenders, and two goaltenders. Among the players are six returning skaters from the 2015-16 South Carolina squad that won the South Division and advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals. Joe Devin, who tied for the team lead with 10 goals in the 2016 Kelly Cup playoffs, and veteran enforcer Trevor Gillies are among the returning players. Fan favorite Patrick Gaul also returns for his fifth season with the Stingrays, while forward Marcus Perrier and defenseman Wade Epp are back for their third season in the Lowcountry. Defender Colton Saucerman also returns after joining the team last April.

The club hits the ice for the first skate of training camp this Sunday, October 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Carolina Ice Palace. A complete training camp schedule is available HERE.
