Rays Unveil Epilepsy JerseysDec 10, 2015

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C.- The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 23 seasons in the Lowcountry and proud affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL), joined the South Carolina Advocates for Epilepsy (S.A.F.E.) on Thursday, December 10 to unveil the 6th Annual Hockey Heroes for Epilepsy jersey at Medical University of South Carolina's Ashley River Tower Hospital.
Stingrays staff, S.A.F.E.’s Karen St. Marie, and Dr. Jonathan Edwards, Director of MUSC Epilepsy Center, spoke and showcased the jersey. The Stingrays will also welcomed team captain Andrew Rowe who was in attendance for the unveiling.
The 6th Annual Hockey Heroes for Epilepsy Night takes place on Saturday, December 12 at 7:05 p.m. vs the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at the North Charleston Coliseum. The night features a live post-game jersey auction of the Hockey Heroes For Epilepsy uniforms, a silent auction on the Coliseum concourse featuring autographed sports and entertainment memorabilia and special performances and presentations during the intermissions. The evening also features a Cool Ray Hockey Heroes for Epilepsy Bobblehead Giveaway.
