Rays To Give Away Up To $25,000 On Opening Night of 25th Anniversary SeasonOct 10, 2017
The South Carolina Stingrays will open their 25th anniversary season on Friday, October 20 and are prepared to give away up to $25,000 to fans in attendance for the contest against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
10 randomly selected lucky fans will be welcomed on the ice at the end of the first period for an opportunity to shoot-to-win a cash prize.
The contest will be conducted in two rounds. Each contestant will be given two shot attempts from the blue line to the closest net. If a contestant successfully shoots both pucks into the net, they will advance to the second round and automatically take home at least $250.
All contestants who successfully make both shots in Round 1 will advance to Round 2 which will take place at the opposing blue line. Again the shooter will be given two attempts at the net, needing to make both to increase their reward to $2,500! All participants will also be given a gift certificate to the Rays’ new merchandise store, The Reef.
The first 5,000 fans through the doors for the team’s first game of the 2017-18 season will receive a Magnet Schedule courtesy of Crews Chevy and ABC News 4.
Groups of 10 or more on the special night will be entered to win a group night at ice level in the Rays Ice House at a later date of their choice based on availability.
Opening night tickets are included as part of the team’s 7-Game Plan ticket package, which starts at just $12 per game!
