Rays Announce Kids Takeover Night Logo ContestOct 10, 2017
The South Carolina Stingrays are looking for a new great logo to be featured on the team’s specialty jersey during ‘Kids Takeover Night’ against the Atlanta Gladiators on Saturday, Dec. 9. The organization has announced a contest in which kids can design and enter a new version of the Stingrays’ logo, with the winning submission to be featured on the specialty uniform.
All of the team’s game-worn jerseys featuring the winning submission will be auctioned off immediately after the game, with proceeds benefitting the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston. Runner-up designs will also be featured elsewhere on the specialty jersey.
Kids Takeover Night will also include a pillowcase giveaway for the first 1,000 kids through the doors at the game age 12-and-under. Other scheduled ‘kids takeover’ events taking place that evening include the Charleston Jr. Stingrays skating out during the starting lineup, national anthem singer and intermission contests. We’ll be celebrating the littlest fans of the Lowcountry and making the night theirs!
Logo submissions can be made by downloading the form at StingraysHockey.com HERE and turning it in at the South Carolina Stingrays front office at 3300 W. Montague Ave. in North Charleston. Kids can also submit forms via email to [email protected]. The deadline for all submissions is Nov. 1.
The Stingrays open their 25th anniversary season at the North Charleston Coliseum on Oct. 20 against Greenville at 7:05 p.m.
