NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 22 seasons of hockey in the Lowcountry, unveiled today the team’s 2015-16 regular-season schedule.

The 2015-16 season opens on home ice with a rematch of the 2015 East Division Semifinals against the Reading Royals on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 at the North Charleston Coliseum.
The Stingrays host four homestands of at least four-straight games including a season-high seven-game run from December 12-27. On the road, the Stingrays have six stretches of three or more games in a row including a season-long six-game road trip from February 9-20.
In 2015-16, the Stingrays take on six new opponents. The Adirondack Thunder, Brampton Beast and Norfolk Admirals visit the North Charleston Coliseum while the Stingrays visit the Thunder, Admirals, Missouri Mavericks, Tulsa Oilers and Wichita Thunder. The Stingrays host the Alaska Aces for the first time since the 2009 Kelly Cup Finals on Saturday, January 16 and Sunday, January 17.
Throughout the season, the Stingrays skate in nine three-game in three-day scenarios and one four-game in five-night setup. Of the 36 home games, 33 take place on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The Stingrays will host several popular theme nights including the return of Opening Night, Teddy Bear Toss, Pack the House Night, Pink in the Rink, Fan Appreciation and Hall of Fame Night and more. The Stingrays regular-season schedule ends on Saturday, April 9 against the Norfolk Admirals in Norfolk, Virginia and the home schedule closes on Saturday, April 2 against the Orlando Solar Bears at the North Charleston Coliseum.

The Stingrays return home to the North Charleston Coliseum tomorrow, Tuesday, April 28 for Game 6 against the Reading Royals and, if necessary, Game 7 on Wednesday, April 29. Tickets for Game 6 are ON SALE NOW at StingraysHockey.com and Ticketmaster. If necessary, Game 7 is Wednesday, April 29 at 7:05 p.m. at the Coliseum with tickets going on sale that morning at 10:00 a.m.
